What is GPU?

Yes, it is totally right that better the GPU better is the gaming experience it is directly proportional to it . another thing to be keep in mind while buying a GPU or graphic card is to not to cut cost by reducing the quality of GPU ,as a GPU usually reaches temperature above 60 degree Celsius so its important the heating grill , or fan supported by the graphic is of high quality and the quality should increase with it too .

The term applies equally to flim and video cameras, computer graphics, and motion capture systems. Frame rate may also be called the frame frequency, and be expressed in hertz (it means the number of time an image refreshes in one second) . you can say that high frame rates gives a smooth feel while watching it .

How frame rate or FPS affects the Human eye?

A normal human can process 10  to 12 images per second if this rate increases then it turns into motion or a video . A normal human can differentiate in frame rate only up to 50 Hz after this range rates look like normal . frame rates play a major role when its about playing games fps and frame rates matter a lot . high fps and frame rates can lead to a difference of scores and in wining or loosing a match . but if you want to only browse videos and want to enjoy smoothness in the vedio then 60 Hz is best for you.

What is refresh rate ?

The refresh rate is the number of times in a second that a display hardware updates its buffer. This is distinct from the measure of frame rate which means updating with new data. The refresh rate includes the repeated drawing of identical frames, while frame rate measures how often a video source can feed an entire frame of new data to a display. The main difference in fps and refresh rate is that fps is the refresh rate of the image and refresh rate is the rate of change in refreshing of the screen
